Brand Lead - Haemato-Oncology. Exciting opportunity to build and lead a cross functional brand team

Role: Brand Lead - Haemato-Oncology
Location: Head Office, Berkshire, flexibility home working - 3 days office, 2 days home.
Therapy Area: Haemato-Oncology - Multiple Myeloma
Salary: Negotiable competitive salary depending on experience, bonus, car allowance and additional package benefits

Role Type: Marketing Manager, Brand Lead 
This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Brand Lead in Haemato-Oncology. The role reports to the Head of Oncology and Haematology. In this role you will:

·    Lead the commercialisation of products within Haemato-Oncology - Multiple Myeloma.
·    Develop the brand strategy in line with the global brand strategy and customer/patient needs. 
·    Build and lead the cross-functional brand team to define the operational plan ensure the successful delivery of the plan to produce short and long-term sales and profit objectives. 

The client is a specialty care global business unit, dedicated to high quality support of patients with rare diseases, multiple sclerosis, cancer and immune diseases. Working across human health from vaccines to rare diseases, and consumer healthcare. 
 

Qualifications:

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent
  • Full UK drivers licence

The Person/Experience:

  • Detailed understanding of ABPI Code of Practice and its practical application in a business environment.
  • Substantial and sustainable sales/marketing/commercial/market research experience that should include working on a diverse brand mix (experience of new and mature), product launch experience, market analytical and forecasting ability, flair for KOL management, ideally experience within relevant therapeutic area.
  • Ability to work within a highly scrutinized and challenged, (global and UK & Ireland) team in order to meet the demands associated with a major pharmaceutical product launch.
  • Strong strategic marketing, analytical and planning skills.
  • Leadership of multidisciplinary teams to effective implementation of strategy.
  • Clear communication style that will inspire and direct teams.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the modern NHS/HSE/Department of Health Ireland and how to influence it favourably.
  • Self-awareness and versatility that will enable strong cross functional influence.
  • Self-motivated with strong verbal and written communication skills.
