Commercial & Healthcare Services Partner x2

The Business Development & Operational Pricing (BDOP) Team are responsible for pricing, routes to market, tendering and contracting with NHS and third party suppliers. The Commercial & Healthcare Services Partner role will have a passion for driving patient and customer outcomes while maximizing business opportunities across the portfolio of Roche medicines.

Commercial & Healthcare Services Partner are responsible to:

  • Develop and execute commercial pricing schemes in collaboration with product squads and other teams
  • Collaborate with Global Pricing in reviewing, approving and executing pricing recommendations
  • Understand the various systems and processes relating to pricing, contracting & tendering and 3rd party provider management.
  • Understand internal systems (AMS/PAM/Leopard) and processes to pricing and commercial agreements.
  • Understand all areas of pricing including VPAS, transfer pricing, brand equalization deals
  • Have the ability to manage 3rd party providers (e.g. Compounders, Home Care providers, etc.) and a good understanding of MAPs.
  • Utilize skills and capabilities, to work flexibly as part of empowered, self-managed, multi-skilled teams (where appropriate), to ensure Foundational work (where applicable) and product Squad- prioritized work is delivered in line with Organizational principles.
  • Lead on work packages on behalf of the other teams/Product Squads related to pricing, contracting & tendering or 3rd party provider management.
  • Work independently on either foundational work or Squad based work.
  • Undertake some team/individual capability/development work.

This is a customer contact role for which you will need to have:
  • Degree in Science or Business subject.
  • Outstanding interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills and fluent
  • in English.
  • Proficient in excel, processing complex information and data.
  • Team player mentality, self-motivated and with a 'can do' attitude.

Individuals should:
  • Have excellent understanding of the UK health system and ability to explain complex topics, relating to chapter capabilities, and where advice is regularly sought and valued across the organization.
  • Work collaboratively and share expertise across the organization to remove silos and duplication, ensure efficient use of similar skill-sets, and to ultimately support common pursuit of the company ambition.
  • Act as a guardian for high standards of compliance, ethics and safety; putting patients at the centre of all actions by consistent business behaviour that complies with applicable laws, industry codes and Roche's Code of Conduct.
  • Have high quality demonstrable communication and negotiation skills.
