As Associate Director of Business Development, you will be responsible for accelerating the growth and uptake of their existing core products and services by developing existing relationships and building new relationships with Industry and NHS clients.

You will also play a key role in shaping and developing new services and in the strategic direction of the company- particularly to support collaborative working with the NHS. You will have a passion for evaluating and appraising the market opportunities including cross selling and diversification.

You will also be responsible for driving overall sales and business development pipeline- from concept creation and testing, lead generation, pitch, proposal and managing key accounts.

Candidate requirements:

• Working with or in the pharmaceutical or private sector in a Business to Business (B2B) role - ideally with client base of pharmaceutical clients or NHS
• Strong selling/ business development experience
• Self-starter with great initiative and pro-activity
• Understanding of NHS landscape and the new NHS environment
• Familiar with ABPI code and compliance considerations
• Previous experience of working with or in primary care
• Market Access experience
• Understand or have experience of joint-working/ collaborative working
• Working with other healthcare service providers
• Strong network of both NHS & Pharma clients
