Here at Syneos Health, we are looking for a Vendor Project Manager / Clinical Outsourcing Manager (COU Manager) sponsor dedicated.

The job location will be Client Based in Paris.

Permanent Contract with 2 Home Based Days per week.

As a Key Member of Operations, Finance, Vendors Team, you will be responsible for all Administrative Sipport following study guidelines, SOPs and applicable Regulations.

Job Key Duties and Responsibilities:

The COU Manager is responsible for performing any/all of the following tasks and responsibilities, as well as any other tasks deemed appropriate by the Supervisor:

  • Supports the design and maintenance of Clinical Outsourcing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)/Procedures, activity trackers, tools (budget templates, budget review tools, etc.).
  • Participates in Third Party Organization (TPO) identification, selection, engagement and oversight activities.
  • Negotiates Master Services Agreement (MSA) and standard budget grids with TPOs under COU GC supervision.
  • Provides oversight of TPO budgets including monthly review of TPO activities, budget forecasts, budget reconciliation and negotiation of change orders, as required under COU GC supervision.
  • Performs Quality Control (QC) on the TPO file and works with the COU Specialist until resolution of any issues detected during this QCs.


The COU Manager will liaise with all parties to ensure that the above mentioned tasks are completed in accordance with the agreed timelines and quality standards.Experience & Training:

  • Bachelor Degree as a minimum.
  • Completion (or currently pursuing) a degree or diploma in Accounting /Business /Commerce or at least 2 years' experience in contract negotiation
  • At least one year of experience in an international clinical trial environment.
  • Working knowledge in clinical research, in particular Good Clinical Practices (GCP).
  • Combinations of education and experience will be considered

Experience & Key Competencies:

  • Demonstrate high attention to detail, accuracy and thoroughness.
  • Ability to take initiative, be flexible, exercise good judgment, and interface with all levels of management.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in order to engage and obtain commitments from external parties.
  • Organization skills to conduct parallel projects under supervision.
  • Proficiency in standard office tools such as MS Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook.
  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
