Are you a passionate, highly experienced Health Economist, looking for the next best career opportunity?

Albion Rye Associates have been assigned exclusively to support the hire a Head of Modelling within a RWE Consultancy based in Greater London, UK, with remote working flexibility considered across the UK.

You will join a fast-growing Real-World Evidence Consultancy, working within the delivery team. In a fun, supportive environment.

You will be responsible for all outputs derived from the time, working with healthcare data you will have overall responsibility for the provision of data and process modelling based on the agreed pathway, methodology and design. This role is both an operational and strategic one for requires the ability to form close working relationships with internal teams and senior stakeholders, as well as suppliers and external clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Line management for the simulation teams, including objective setting and performance management.
  • Software/platform/vendor selection, management, operation, and maintenance.
  • Overall responsibility for each output from the team.
  • Producing quality work, ensuring delivering within a timely manner.
  • Assist in the sales proposal process including providing the sales team with product insight and attending client meetings.
  • Conduct literature reviews with emphasis on extracting data pertinent to health economic evaluations and cost-effectiveness analyses.
  • Assisting with drafting sections of project deliverables.
  • Working with the Project Management Office.
  • Developing visual concepts and user interface designs for projects.
  • Implementation of simulation models (e.g., discrete event simulation) and potentially other decision-analytic models (e.g., Markov, individual state-transition, survival partition)
  • Ensure the reviewing and interpreting client briefs, as well as various other supporting materials from simple brand guidelines to complex randomized clinical trial studies.
  • Analysing and interpreting simulation results including appropriate statistical analyses.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Health Economics, Mathematics, Epidemiology; or Life Sciences.
  • Bachelor’s degree in other fields will be considered.
  • Previous experience in line management.
  • Extensive client facing experience within a consultancy environment.
  • An understanding and experience of working with healthcare data.
  • Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Creative and analytical skills
  • Strong business focus keeping the desired solution for the client in mind.
