Technical Lead

I am partnered with an exciting start-up who have just received significant funding for their innovative sustainable biomanufacturing platform focussed around producing molecules for ingredients and materials used in industrial and consumer applications. They are seeking an experienced individual to lead in a senior role and support the overall growth of the organisation.

Responsibilities:

• Management of their flavours and fragrances lab
• Directly manage, recruit and support your team
• Provide technical leadership within R&D
• Provide expertise within process engineering, fermentation etc
• Providing technical support to partners and the wider business as required
• Maintaining and developing the laboratory practices, procedures and equipment
• Offer strategic insight to the wider business and assessing future opportunities for growth

Your Background:

• PhD in a relevant subject such as biochemistry
• Experience within process engineering
• Understanding of microbiology and molecular biology
• Experience within flavours and fragrances in areas such as food or cosmetics
• Management/leadership experience
