About site:

Bishops Stortford facility in the United Kingdom provides GMP biologics storage and cell therapy clinical trial support. It offers customised solutions for scientific, healthcare and research customers, such as specimen kit assembly and collection, lab processing, biobanking and repository services. The facility specialises in the storage, packaging & distribution of ultra-low temperature materials to support our growing Clinical Trials, Bio Banking & Cell & Gene Therapy Clients.

Position Summary:

The role functions in a repository environment, which may include working with dry ice, liquid nitrogen cryogenics, hazardous and infectious agents, as well as marked changes in temperature. Hands-on experience working with biological or pharmaceutical samples and working in clinical packaging or Good Manufacturing Practice environment is desirable.

Key Responsibilities (under supervision):
* follow Production Orders to complete client Packaging requirements
* follow Kitting Plans / Kit Maps to complete client specific kitting projects
* correct material from in house software systems
* pick and pack orders
* dispatching, inventory and receipt
* book transport
* receive deliveries from couriers
* complete GMP paperwork in timely manner
* complete Cycle counts as and when requested by PM
* ensure all job-related paperwork is correct, error-free, and completed in real time as per Standard Operating Procedures

Other responsibilities are as follows:
* Meet necessary timelines i.e. couriers / quality
* Follow Standard Operating Procedures
* Support the business metrics in ensuring that all Company & Regulatory requirements for Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) compliance
* To be available for infrequent overtime work as necessary

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
* Production line experience
* GCSE level or equivalent
* IT literate - preferably Microsoft Office
* Ability to read and interpret general procedures and governmental regulations
* Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, and volume
* Good written and verbal communication skills

Additional requirements and information:
* Frequently required to type, sit, stand, walk, lift/carry up to 25kg. Occasionally required to push/roll 280kg lb liquid nitrogen dewars and 4-500kg freezers, and work from a platform ladder
