Associate Business Operations Manager (897425-MGP)

Our client is a leading global player in the Pharmaceutical industry with global headquarters in Basel, Switzerland. We are currently looking for a Associate Business Operations Manager  for a 12-month contract to be based in Basel.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Work in close collaboration with the Head of Business Operations to support on all the required activities to ensure smooth business operations (including overall operational rhythm and cycle in alignment to the company main processes);
  • Support and facilitate communications, support the Team’s communication plan, translate management messages and share them with associates using various channels and tools;
  • Develop and generate communications content, edits and compile newsletters, general communication and support the creation of multimedia, manage, edit and desig content on Sharepoint and other communication tools;
  • Conducts research and analysis and produces reports Internal communications, e.g. internal climate and surveys, impact of internal communications events;
  • Supports in implementing and coordinating strategic organizational initiatives, change management and people engagement initiatives;
  • Works as required to provide operational support for own management and team on ad hoc Internal communications issues;
  • Support other generic activities, such as ensure compliance of processes with company regulations, proactively communicate key issues and any critical topic in a timely manner to the appropriate management level and to/or any other relevant project team members. Provide input on issues and collaborates with other team members to facilitate issues resolution;
  • Work with external vendors, on assigned events and projects (graphic agencies).



Qualifications and Experience:

  • Relevant working/residency permit or Swiss/EU-Citizenship required;
  • Advanced degree in business administration, communications, human resources or relevant discipline;
  • Minimun of 2 years of practical experience in chemical / pharmaceutical industry or 3 years of experience in field of expertise;
  • Proven leadership skills
  • Excellent communication skills in English, German is an advantage.
