Production/Warehouse Operative (within Pharmaceutical)

* Shift: 14:00 - 22:00
* Salary: up to £23,500 Including Shift Allowance
* Location: Bishops Stortford

Do you have experience in any of the following environments; warehouse, production, supply chain, factory, food, pharma, medical, medicine, chemical or packaging ? If so our client, who provides Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) biologics storage and cell therapy clinical trial support, is looking to hear from you.

Position Summary:
The role functions in a warehouse environment, which may include working with dry ice, liquid nitrogen cryogenics, hazardous and infectious agents, as well as marked changes in temperature. Hands-on experience working with biological or pharmaceutical samples and working in clinical packaging or Good Manufacturing Practice environment is desirable.

Key Responsibilities (under supervision):
* Follow production orders to complete client Packaging requirements
* Follow kitting Plans / kit maps to complete client specific kitting projects
* Complete material inventory by carrying out monthly stock checks and cycle counts when due or requested
* Ensure all packaging/compliance related paperwork is correct and completed in real time as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
* Follow all Standard Operating Procedures

Other Responsibilities (Under supervision):
* Receive/dispatch delivery of materials

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
* Ability to read and interpret general procedures and governmental regulations
* Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, and volume
* Good written and verbal communication skills
* IT literate - preferably Microsoft Office
* GCSE level or equivalent
* Packaging experience

Additional requirements and information:
* Infrequent overtime will be available
