Medical Director – Clinical Development - Switzerland

We have an exciting opportunity available as a Medical Director for Clinical Development Strategy at leading Pharmaceutical company based in Switzerland. This is a fantastic role for an experienced Clinical Development physician looking to develop further within Clinical Development leading clinical programs, planning, executing and interpreting clinical trials liaising closely with CRO partners.

Responsibilities

• Leadership of clinical programs in accordance with clinical development strategy collaborating closely with CRO partners.
• Leadership and participation with cross-functional teams providing expert clinical input on behalf of the clinical team.
• Accountable for preparation of clinical component of briefing books and regulatory documents for interaction with health authorities, preparation of clinical components of marketing authorization dossiers. Attendance as and when needed with health authority meetings.
• Accountability for setting the scope for clinical content of clinical study protocols, investigator brochures, clinical study reports, clinical modules for submission.
• Accountable and responsible for sponsor elements; inspection readiness relating to clinical elements.
• Taking the clinical leadership role in meetings with Health Authorities presenting company position regarding clinical programs and the strategy for its achievement.
• Contribution to data disclosure of clinical trial results including but not limited to publications.
• Input to budget for clinical areas and management of related activities
• Contribution to due diligence activities

Requirements

• Medical Doctor, PHD candidates also considered with very strong relevant backgrounds in biologics
• Biologics experience and/or Immunology experience is highly desirable
• Clinical development experience – pipeline ranges from Phase I to Phase III
• Experience of CRO oversight
• Experience of dossier preparation and input with interaction with health authorities
