Experienced (non-manager)

Richmond Pharmacology's continued growth throughout 2020 and projected growth into 2021 and our ability to adapt to the extreme and ever changing landscape of the Covid-19 pandemic has required us to increase the size of every department within the organisation. The Data Management team is no exception and we are looking for experienced Data Managers who have experience working in a CRO or similar clinical trials environment, to join our team, assisting in the collection, collation and distribution of data for all of our phase 1, phase 2 and phase 3 clinical trials.

The successful candidate will have substantial prior experience working as a Data Manager in clinical trials and will be accustomed to all data handling tasks including data entry, quality checking, database build, annotation, CRF design, etc, all the way through to eliminating protocol deviations and final database lock. Prior experience must include:

  • clinical trials, preferably in a CRO environment
  • setting data handling protocols
  • design of CRF and database build, including rules, queries and database testing
  • quality checking data against the CRF, data upload and cleansing and medical coding
  • reconciliation and review of data, eliminating protocol deviations
  • Final database lock

We operate in a dedicated, self contained clinical trials unit based next to Guys Hospital and the King's College, Guys Campus. Much of our data is gathered on site from volunteers within our ward environments and is collected on paper as well as digitally, so you will need to be accustomed to uploading raw data from multiple different sources. This is predominantly a site based role, so you will need to live within an easy commute of London Bridge.

Our main clinical database is Medidata Rave and prior experience with this platform would be highly attractive, although experience with any clinical database such as Inform would be readily considered.

If you believe that you have the skills and experience needed to succeed in a role of this nature, please complete the application process online (name and contact details will be requested) and upload a copy of your CV.
