Albion Rye Associates are delighted to be partnered with an outstanding communications agency looking to expand their writing team with a principal medical writer.

Due to ongoing growth, they are looking for an experienced principal medical writer or a senior medical writer ready to step up into a leadership role.

This is a superb opportunity for someone looking for a position that allows them to lead a team of incredible writers, inspiring and ensuring professional goals are met.

The role:

• Ensure projects are delivered to an exceptionally high standard and in line with the client’s brief and budget
• Work closely with the wider team to lead and drive projects
• Leading scientific discussions with clients - face to face and on calls
• Continuously driving organic growth opportunities on accounts
• Acting as the lead for proposals and pitches
• Line management and mentoring of the wider team

Therapy areas:

• Oncology
• Immune oncology
• Haematology
• Mental health
• Nutrition
• Ophthalmology

Requirements:

• Life Science degree
• Experience within a medical communications agency
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong leadership skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook)
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, including when working under pressure
