As we continue to evolve and grow then so too do our corporate or Business Services functions, hence Astellas now has an opportunity for an Internal Communications Manager. Noting this is an initial 12-month Fixed Term Contract with a view to becoming a permanent role.

About This Job

Reporting to the Director of Employee Communications, in this role you will:

  • Be aligned to mostly European stakeholders as well as Canada and Australia, collectively known as 'Established Markets Commercial' (EST-C).
  • Closely collaborate and support the Director by creating and implementing communications as well as managing corporate communications programmes.
  • Engage with stakeholders to communicate Astellas values, vision and corporate strategic plan.
  • Work with a mix of communication materials such as Messaging, Q&A documents, presentations and social media content.
  • Provide communications counsel to senior leaders
  • Identify ways to engage and inspire employees to connect them to the vision
  • Design and implement change management communications to support overall business transformation.
  • Project manage large scale initiatives including working with external agencies
  • Adopt a culture of ethics and compliance
  • Work closely with the team, providing guidance and development support to a more junior team member.

 

Essential Knowledge & Experience

  • Proven Internal Communications experience, both strategic and operational with the ability to work autonomously.
  • Exposure to working in a diverse global organisation
  • A passion for and experience of using a mix of communications channels including events management.
  • Strong stakeholder management experience with the ability to influence at senior level.
  • Strong planning and project management skills
  • Excellent personal communication and interpersonal skills
  • A 'can do' approach
  • Understands compliance
  • The ability to work well as a team with a collaborative approach

 

Preferred Knowledge & Experience

⦁ Experience of working with Poppulo

⦁ Experience of Teams Live Events

⦁ Pharma experience (though not essential)

 

Educations/Qualifications

⦁ A graduate or equivalent professional qualification
