Our client is a boutique agency with offices in London and Kent. They deliver exceptional healthcare communications and non-promotional medical education. Due to continued success, they are looking for a Client Services Director to join their team in London.

In this role, you will provide direction, strategic insight, leadership, and mentoring to the client services team to ensure the delivery of projects to the highest standard. Working with the senior team, you will contribute to the drive and growth of the product portfolio of the business, including the development of new and existing accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for cost efficiency and profitability across all accounts in the team
  • Provide leadership and mentoring to the client services team
  • Offer strategic insights into accounts and ensure that the deliverables are of the highest standard and meet client needs
  • Maintain good relationships with clients and offer senior counsel when needed
  • Contribute to the growth of the product portfolio of the business
  • Business development
 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Life Science degree, preferably PhD
  • Significant previous experience in a similar role gained in a medical communications agency
  • Strong understanding of client strategy and the ability to deliver a wide variety of aligned projects, global and domestic
  • Great communication skills and a skilled negotiator
  • Experience with new business development
  • Domestic and international travel when required
