This role can be home based in the UK or situated at our UK Head Office located in Uxbridge. The office is open planned and you will be working in an innovative, supportive and collaborative environment with peers and colleagues from around the world. This role can also be home or office based in the following countries : Ireland, Romania, Czech Rep, Serbia, Russia, Ukraine Poland, Spain, Italy, Russia, Hungary, Lithuania, Belgium or the Netherlands.

As the Integrated Solution Strategist (ISS) at Parexel, (level depending on experience (Ass Director / Director/ Sr Director) you will be a recognized professional in your area of expertise (technical, functional or therapeutic), with experience in design, operational conduct and successful delivery of clinical solutions globally. You will work in partnership with colleagues in Enterprise Accounts, Biotech Accounts, Commercial Operations and SBU's to optimize new business awards through the development of compelling operational and technical strategies and business solutions to support client needs.

You will also support Delivery and Marketing in your specific area of expertise to support SBU specific sales targets:
- Provide strategic guidance for major accounts
- Assist to identify and qualify new opportunities
- Craft creative solutions for specific sales campaigns
- Drive content to assist in early engagement

Key Accountabilities:

Sales Support
- Participate as a member of the discovery sessions to understand the client's businessobjectives and system needs and support clients through pre-award process, as required
- Create a strong "outside-in"/One Parexel culture and drive a consultative approach whichenables Parexel to develop unique business solutions for its customers and positions thevalue of those solutions to drive industry leadership
- Lead the solution development team and proactively engage with experts across Parexelto create bespoke solutions that maximize value for the customer and differentiateParexel from its competitors
- Drive the development of efficient, competitive and profitable solutions, scope andbudgets
- Ensure milestones, scope and hours budgeted are achievable
- Ensure appropriate assumptions are included in proposals/work orders
- Maximize Parexel's ability to capture change in scope (CIS) through effective riskassessments and clarity of terms

Solution Communication
- Support the development of customer focused, well presented proposal content andbudgets that clearly differentiates Parexel from its competitors and helps to drive growthof Parexel business across SBUs
- Ensure client responses reflect strategy discussions, meet client needs, offers consistentmessaging, conveys value proposition and critical success factors
- Define bid pursuit content; review and integrate content and considerations into Bidstrategy as required
- Support/participate in bid pursuit meetings as needed

Solution Adoption & Delivery
- Ensure effective handover and subsequent adoption of solution to SBU Delivery
- Maintain efficient knowledge of solution delivery. Liaise, as required, with deliveryoversight to ensure solution sold meets expectations of time, cost, quality and customersatisfaction.
- Drive the lessons learned feedback loop to achieve continual improvement of solutiondevelopment

- Bachelor's degree or strong previous Project Leadership / Solution Sales Consultancy experience in the pharmaceutical development field
- Advanced degree preferred

Skills/ Experience:
- Advanced and high level experience in the Life Sciences industry, with a strong exposure within areaof Central Nervous System (CNS). Additional expertise in Cardiovascular, Endocrine andRare Disease is a plus.
- Experience in strategic drug development planning, study design or significantinvolvement in planning clinical, technical or operational strategies
- Demonstrates an energetic,'make it happen' attitude, capable of thriving in a complexmatrix environment with an ability to build strong cross functional relationships.
- Strong understanding of commercial ecosystem and awareness of industry trends in theirarea of expertise through active participation in leading industry forums and professionalorganizations as well as maintaining awareness of relevant changes in global regulations.
- Ability to see the strategic view while employing pragmatic approaches to delivery
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with delivery to allbusiness levels.
- Independent thinking with a flexible attitude to work assignments and developing newcapabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple and varied tasks with enthusiasm and prioritize workload withattention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex ideas in a simple, understandable andcompelling manner
- Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills
- Willing to travel up to 30%
