As an Administration Assisant within the CMC (Chemsitry, Manufacturing Controls) team based in Alconbury, Cambridgeshire you will have responsibility for clinical and pre-clinical data input and data checking throughout the department.
The job responsibilies will include:
- Assisting CMC Administrator in the archiving of study specific and non-study specific archiving
- Organising and storing paperwork, documents and computer-based information
- Photocopy and printing a variety of documents
- Assisting the Sample Logistics Manager sample disposal activities
- Maintenance of sample records to keep up to date
- Accepting responsibility and taking additional precautions for the safety of self when handling high hazard class materials and biohazards
- Maintaining a working knowledge of appropriate GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) regulations and company/department SOPs (standard Operating Procedures) their application and strict adherence to the work area
- Assist colleagues whenever necessary
Please note, this is a Fixed Term Contract until Feb 2022
Education/Qualifications:
- GCSE level or equivalent including English and Maths
- Computing skills, including word processing and use of spreadsheets (e.g. Microsoft Office packages and Microsoft Project)
- The post holder should possess an excellent telephone manner, an ability to write e-mails and letters to a high clarity and standard, and be able to communicate effectively at all levels with other Covance by labcorp employees, as well as external Clients, suppliers, etc.
- Some previous administrative experience desirable
