Global Pharmaceutical Manufacturer seeks Electrical Engineers for a 12-month FTC role.
Shifts: 6am - 2pm then 1.30pm - 9.30pm the following week Monday to Friday
About the roles:
A vacancy has arisen for an Electrical Engineer within the Engineering Group on a 12-month contract. The successful candidate will ensure that all site, production equipment and services are set-up, monitored, adjusted and maintained in such a manner that production outputs and production quality are maximised.
Duties may include:
You will be responsible for diagnosing and rectifying any electrical/electronic faults on equipment and distribution systems, therefore having experience in an FMCG environment is preferred. You will calibrate and verify GMP critical control systems as well as maintain and evaluate electronic measurement and control systems. As an Electrical Engineer you will be aware of, and familiar with, current electrical regulations ensuring all work complies with those regulations. You will carry out maintenance utilizing the current planned maintenance system and advise on the drawing up and maintenance of schedules and relevant engineering documents, including making recommendations for improvements to EOP's electrical drawings, personal training records etc. Advising engineering supervisors of machine problems, safety issues and options to improve the efficiency of machines will be a regular occurrence.
Skills and experience:
The ideal candidate will have good electrical/electronic knowledge, both technical and regulatory (IEE regs) preferably to include industrial drive systems, measurement and control systems and PLC's. You will hold a City and Guilds or ONC equivalent with relevant experience of working within a similar environment.
