  • Does marketing high medical value solutions interest you?

If the answer to the questions above is yes, we welcome you to apply for an exciting opportunity as a Product / Market Manager at Roche Diagnostics UK & Ireland, based in Burgess Hill, UK.

The Position

You will join the Clinical Marketing team who currently focuses on high medical value solutions for cardiology, oncology, women's health and infectious diseases.

Reporting to the Senior Market Manager for Clinical Marketing, you will join a dynamic team and be responsible for the marketing of our high medical value oncology solutions.  Fully embracing the role you will be responsible for growing the oncology business by delivering on the marketing plan and working cross functionally with colleagues in the UK and at the global level.  There is potential for the role to adapt to other clinical areas in line with the strategic direction of the organisation.

In your capacity as the recognised marketing champion both internally and externally, you will influence the development of the clinical marketing strategy and be responsible for the marketing plan, implementing global marketing campaigns in addition to creating local ones whilst providing strategic insights.

As a Product / Market Manager for Clinical Marketing, you will work across a matrix marketing team to drive growth in and adoption of oncology solutions across the UK and Ireland.

Location may be office based in Burgess Hill, or location agnostic and we are open to dialogue around what is the best solution.  You will be expected to spend approximately 20% of your time at customer sites or attending specific events, both across the UK, Ireland and on occasion, internationally.

Who You Are

Degree educated or equivalent in Life Science or Biomedical science and/or with a business/marketing degree, you have gained experience in commercial roles within pharmaceuticals or diagnostics and with a proven track record of creative and strategic thinking.

Additional desirable experience:
  • Commercial experience in oncology solutions
  • Managing relationships across a matrix environment

You will have the ability to devise, coordinate and present strong marketing campaigns for the Clinical Marketing team, working closely with the Senior Market Manager. We are looking for someone who can build strong relationships with peers, key internal stakeholders (for example marketing/sales/medical/compliance) and customers alike, who can quickly move to the delivery/execution stage on projects.

To be successful in this role, you will need to be resilient, tenacious and both adaptable and flexible to work within an ever evolving environment. Passionate to improve and shape successful patient outcomes, you will have good understanding of the barriers to acceptance of new concepts/solutions to drive novel marketing campaigns. You have a natural flair to win hearts and minds with key internal and external stakeholders.

With excellent organisation and problem-solving abilities, your outstanding communication skills enable you to drive marketing strategy across multi-disciplinary teams in a highly complex, cross-functional environment.
