Our UK Diagnostics business, headquartered in Burgess Hill, West Sussex, employs approximately 650 highly skilled individuals who all play an important role in the day-to-day operations and overall success of the Company.  The organisation is looking to become more customer and data-driven, and is looking to expand the capabilities of the Insights function, which resides in the marketing department.

The role

In this newly created position, reporting to the Head of Insights, you will help build a function that translates data into meaningful insights for the whole Diagnostics business. The successful candidate has the opportunity to demonstrate the value of the role and secure a permanent position.

This role is based at our Head Office in Burgess Hill (now fully remote during the pandemic), with a flexible working policy allowing you to choose how often you visit the office.

The essence of the position is to deliver insights to all parts of the business in a number of key areas: Our customers, our markets, our competitors, our pricing, and our campaigns. You will do this through developing strong working relationships with all parts of the business, undertaking detailed, accurate, innovative analysis, and delivering the outputs of this analysis in an impactful way.

This role is for an initial 24-month period as a temporary contract, we are looking for the successful candidate to prove the value of the role to the organisation so that the role can become permanent at the end of the contract period.

Who you are

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent preferably with 2-5 years experience in a data insights position, you will be looking for a challenging new role with a highly commercial focus.
  • You will have a passion for data analysis and data visualisation, with the ability to confidently share your findings and influence senior stakeholders
  • An understanding of Healthcare data sources (both primary and secondary care) is desirable as is experience in a B2B, tender driven market.
  • Someone who is happy to work independently, manage multiple priorities, as well as contribute strongly in a team environment
  • Have a passion for delivering a superior customer experience, with a strong understanding of Customer experience theory and how to best measure how customers feel along their journey with Roche.
  • Someone who takes a proactive approach to problem-solving, and has an enthusiasm for driving projects through to completion
