Cell Culture Development Scientist
Location: Cambridgeshire

Cpl are currently recruiting for a Scientist with bioreactor experience to join an innovative Biotech in Cambridgeshire. The company are continually improving their antibody discovery technologies in order to create better medicines. Working as part of the Upstream team, you will be supporting bioreactor process development and tech transfer activities.

Key responsibilities
-Developing and optimising of bioreactor processes for novel biopharmaceuticals
-Screening of cell lines using scale-down and bench-scale bioreactor systems
-Supporting technology transfers of processes and methods to scale-up and GMP facilities
-Setting up and running of bioreactor systems (3-30L)
-Maintaining cell lines and preparing cell culture media and reagents

- BSc/MSc/PhD in Biology or related field
- Experience working with bench-scale bioreactors
- Experience in CHO cell lines
- Knowledge of statistical modelling software and designing experiments is advantageous
(Weekend work is an essential part of this role, so any applicant must be happy to work 1 weekend per month with time in lieu given)
