Job responsibilities
• Oversee the administrative project work, such as Trial Master File (TMF) submission, meeting minutes, updated to the data in core systems. Oversee and ensure the PTASC employees are performing activities in compliance with applicable Corporate and Clinical Operations Policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions (WIs), and GCP & ICH Guidelines
• Assists leadership in performance improvement, operational efficiencies, and operational excellence by identifying best practices and ideas for innovation and continuous improvement within PTASC.
• Provides support and oversight to Project Administration Support Center (PASC) managers in performance/process improvement, identifying operational efficiencies, identifying best practices, and continuous improvement opportunities within the PTASC.
• Plans for the efficient allocation and staffing needs of the department.
• Participates in both short and long-term planning for all aspects of the department's operations and growth. May participate in corporate initiatives upon request.
• May function as liaison and facilitator between the department and clinical business units supporting consistent implementation, process optimization and quality delivery regarding the PTASC.
• Develops, collects, and analyzes department metrics.
• Interview candidates for positions in the department, responsible for on-boarding, training and mentoring managers within PTASC.
• Performs other work-related duties as assigned.What we're looking for
• BA/BS in the life sciences, nursing degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience and extensive progressive management experience preferably in a worldwide clinical research, pharmaceutical, or Biotechnology Company.
• Comprehensive management skills and experience, including but not limited to short and long-term planning, evaluation, directing and motivating staff, marketing and financial management.
• Strong ability to manage time and work independently and collaboratively.
• Knowledge of GCP/ICH guidelines and other applicable regulatory requirement.
• Experience in a clinical and/or medical environment that includes working with TMF or Essential Documents.
• Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal skills, both written and spoken, with an ability to inform, influence, convinces, and persuade.
• High proficiency with full MS Office Applications, including MS Project.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment with high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in the English language both written and verbal.
• Some travel may be required (up to 10%).
