Senior Project Manager (897393-MGP)

Our client is a leading Medical Technology company in Switzerland. It is headquartered in Central Switzerland and has a global network of production sites, subsidiaries and sales partners. For our clients Technology division in the Product Development HW&SW department, we are looking for a Senior Project Manager for a permanent role to be based in Central Switzerland area.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Result-oriented planning, budgeting and implementation / management of projects with regard to deadlines, human resources, development costs and investments;
  • Project setup and implementation, as well as effective end-to-end project management;
  • Creation and updating of an appropriate project plans adhering to business goals and orders, as well as maintaining consistent and complete project documentation;
  • Coordination of sub-project tasks, ensuring the flow of information and communication in the team as well as with all stakeholders;
  • Ongoing follow-up, evaluation and proactive control of projects in terms of deadlines, resources, costs and quality, reporting responsibilities on all stages of the project;
  • Arranging or requesting, implementing and enforcing corrective measures.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Relevant working/residency permit or Swiss/EU-Citizenship required;
  • Completed training as an engineer FH / ETH / TU in the field of electrical engineering, computer science, microtechnology or mechanical engineering;
  • Additional training in business administration and / or project management;
  • Professional experience and proven success in the development of complex mechatronic products, embedded or networked products, as well as manufacturing processes, preferably in the field of medical technology, pharmaceuticals, automotive, plastics processing or electronics; 
  • Pronounced entrepreneurial personality, competent and experienced in digitization topics;
  • Management experience in a corresponding environment as well as in a matrix organization;
  • Very good knowledge of English.
