Head of Biostatistics - Oncology Focused Biotech

Location - Marseille, France

Flexibility - Remote working if you're based in France.

Responsibilities:

You will be the key Statistical figure within the company. You will be responsible for designing new clinical trials as well as leading statistical protocol development. A strong understanding and experience with ADaM/CDISC You will also be responsible for the training and development of what is currently a team of 3 reports. You will be able to manage your time and workload when working on multiple complex projects. You will also build the capabilities of the department for both the statistics and Data Management team. You will have the ability to converse exceptionally with internal and external stakeholders

Experience:

You will have a PhD and MSc in a statistically related field. 10+ years experience working as a Biostatistician within a Pharma, CRO or Biotech Company. 5+ years within a Senior role, mentoring a team of Biostatistician's, Data Managers and or relevant members of the Biostatistics team. In terms of therapy areas, 5+ years of Oncology related experience is desirable. Rare and Infectious diseases experience is also desirable. Experience submitting IND/BLA/MAA is also desired but not essential. Strong technical background in SAS and R, using the software's in a commercial setting. Fluent in both French and English.
