R&D Manager - Swiss MedTech - English a MUST with some French

R&D Manager - Swiss MedTech - permanent position - Business English essential, some French

Our client is a global leader in the development, manufacture, and sale of Medical Device products for the Diagnostics industry. Currently, and as a result of restructuring, they are looking for a new R&D Manager with team lead responsibility for 9-10 people. The role will have a strong verification & validation focus, implementing verification & validation strategy, and ensuring compliance of product development project testing to relevant EU and FDA regulations and will be a key role in the organisation going forward.

A suitable background for this position could therefore be a degree in Engineering, biotechnology, biochemistry, biology or relevant related technical experience working in the Life Sciences (Diagnostics, clinical chemistry, infectious diseases, immunology), or medical devices industry (e.g. ISO13485; CFR21 part 11, MDD/MDR, IVDR) with documented history of managing people. Experience working with Diagnostics related products is beneficial, as is Lean & Six Sigma experience, and a good understanding of instrumentation.

English is essential as this is the corporate language, with some French a huge bonus and German a nice-to-have.
