Provides support to the organization in supporting FORUM, a comprehensive global initiative that brings an integrated approach to the management of project resources, timelines and finances. Provides business process level support in conjuction with the support team in answering day-to-day queries. Works across multiple divisions providing support for the BMO (Business Management Organization). Delivers tasks within cost, time and quality requirements. Works with staff in all functional areas on the continuous development and support of FORUM, Project View and other systems as idenfied. Supports change intiatives related to the BMO.
  • Applies comprehensive business knowledge and thorough understanding of database structure and capabilities of key projects to filter and guide business user's requests.
  • Utilizes software knowledge and/or programming skills to creatively meet requested deliverables within the BMO.
  • Represents BMO in interactions with business functions and/or locations, including: assessment / troubleshooting of BMO Support requests or problems, coordination of IT, Finance, Project Management and other Functional Operational services to meet requirements, and communication of information or capabilities relating to BMO.
  • Develops and mentors staff to expand BMOs capabilities and ensures effective management and use of all systems supported by the BMO.
  • Provides general infrastructure support to the company. e.g. departmental presentations / awareness training, contribution into improving company documentation and process policies as it relates to the BMO and implementation and use of FORUM and/or other systems.
  • Identifies training gaps and ensures that training requirements are met. Develops and delivers training as appropriate.
  • Monitors business and technology trends, proactively making proposals/recommendations for improvements to system support standards, ensuring a reliable platform that will meet anticipated future requirements of the business.


Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification

  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Ability to analyze data and situations to develop suitable solutions
  • Ability to exercise judgment
  • Ability to manage projects and deliverables within the group including ability to keep up with rapid changes in priorities; to work on multiple projects without loss of efficiency and move to new projects with relative ease
  • Must effectively network across functions and geographies
  • Technical skills in use of software utilized by the company (MS Project, MS Access, MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook, etc.)
  • Proven ability to identify root cause, conduct analysis and identify solutions
