For our brand new laboratory in the South of France we are currently looking for a Bio-analytical Lab Technician. The Bioanalytical Technician is responsible for extracting and analyzing samples according to established procedures and SOPs. As a technician you participate in developing and validating bioanalytical methods (ELISA, ECL, Assays) and have the ability to work within specific guidelines and within certain timeframes. JOB ACTIVITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Perform all activities related to processing and analyzing biological samples, mainly serum and plasma.
  • Participate in developing and validating bioanalytical methods.
  • Document the activities related to sample analysis and assist in verifying various documents.
  • Assist in reviewing SOPs related to bioanalytical and methodology.
  • Initiate analysis runs using the appropriate instruments and software (ELISA, ECL).
  • Follow up on result analysis and assist in finding solutions to bioanalytical issues.
  • Assist with the integration and revision of data using specialized computer applications.
  • Assist in eliminating the chemical and biological waste generated by laboratory employees and help to maintain a clean working environment.
  • Perform support tasks to meet the needs of laboratory users.
  • Responsible for performing activities that are in compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies, Standard Operating Procedures and Operating Guidelines and performing other duties as assigned by management.
What we're looking for
  • Bachelor of sciences, DUT, BTS or equivalent
  • Minumum of 1 year of relevant work experience with analysing large molecule/ ELISA / ECL would be considered an asset.
  • Must demonstrate good computer skills especially in the utilization of Microsoft Word, Excel and analytical software.
  • Knowledge of chromatography software would be considered an asset.
  • Experience of working in a regulated environment (GLP, GCLP) will be considered an asset.
  • Good communication, presentation, interpersonal skills, both written and spoken.
  • English level: Required English proficiency includes being able to communicate verbally on subjects that are frequently specialized and technical
  • Candidate who does not possess the required training and/or experience might be considered under different criteria
