Our global pharmaceutical client has a vacancy for a Pharmacovigilance Agreements Specialist.
Our client is looking for candidates based in the UK.
This is an initial 6-month full time contract.

Direct management of PV agreements and able to form a strong partnership with other pharmaceutical companies.

PV Partnering is accountable for the elements of collection and provision of safety data/information via external sources that require contractual arrangements to be defined and managed to drive effective delivery.  As a member of the PV Partnering Team, the jobholder is accountable for contributing to the delivery of the Safety Operations strategy, whilst working across a matrix organization and aligning with other PDS and PD functions.

The jobholder is overall responsible for supporting the management and to facilitate implementation of Safety Agreement processes, templates and systems and oversee quality assurance activities related to safety agreement implementation in close partnership and alignment with respective global and business process owners and appropriate stakeholders. 

  • Life Science Degree (e.g. BSc Pharmacology, BSc Biology, BSc Neuroscience, etc.) or qualification in relevant industry areas
Experience, Skills, Knowledge:
  • Thorough experience in areas relevant to pharmacovigilance system, good experience in safety agreements management desired)
  • Expert knowledge of PV system and GVP/GCP regulations and guidelines 
  • Vast experience in business partner management; sound understanding of contractual set ups requiring safety agreements
  • Thorough understanding of the drug development process and regulatory requirements and their impact on safety agreement activities
  • Proven excellent written and verbal communication skills with an international or cross functional perspective
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, impact assessment and strategic and system thinking skills.
  • Excellent negotiation skills, Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively and efficiently in an international matrix environment
  • Highly developed influencing and negotiating skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of an organisation, without direct authority.  
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, builds strong sustainable relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Proven ability to lead global line or matrix teams in accordance with the leadership commitments and values, and to work across geographic areas, business settings and cultures, including in a virtual environment.
