Main Duties and Responsibilities:
We are looking for a Senior Contracts Specialist to join our Contracts department.
You will be responsible for delivering high quality outputs for Simbec-Orion's internal and external stakeholders of the Contracts Department. You will drive process improvement and capabilities of the Contracts Department by continuously increasing efficiencies.
You will also ensures that Simbec-Orion fulfils its obligation to provide stakeholders with legally compliant outputs including for more complex contracts and will deputise for the Head of Contracts.

Minimum Requirements:
Essential:
- Bachelors Degree in Humanities; Sciences or Social Sciences
- Legal Training and/or qualification i.e. Law A-level or equivalent, Law degree, Graduate Diploma in Law or Legal Practice Course
- Recognised legal practise qualification (Solicitor/Barrister, FILEX or equivalent in other jurisdictions)
- Computer skills - good level of word and Excel knowledge
- Experience in drafting and negotiating commercial and project contracts
- Demonstration of desire to work as a team
- Previous experience of coaching and mentoring
Desirable:
- International contract drafting and management experience
- Experience drafting and reviewing contracts in the Pharmaceutical or CRO industry
- Language skills (European)
- Previous line management experience
