CTO Chief Technology Officer – Real-time blood monitoring device

We have a fantastic opportunity available as a Chief Technology Officer at an innovative medical device company developing cutting edge biomarker monitoring technology based in Switzerland. This is a fantastic role for someone with a passion for molecular diagnostics, detection or data science to lead a small company with huge future potential.

Requirements

• Prior experience as a Chief Technology Officer CTO or similar
• Line management experience
• Hands on mentality
• Previous experience developing medical diagnostic, blood monitoring or detection technology
• Previous experience in the Haematology, blood, endocrinology or surrounding areas

Responsibilities

The Chief Technology Officer is responsible for leading the company alongside the CEO and other board members with an expert eye to the technical development of the product. As the company is small but growing it will be required to have a ‘hands on’ mentality managing a large team whilst keep involved with the development of the technology as well as handle the senior responsibilities associated to a member of the board. More detailed responsibilities will be discussed at interview stage and a job description be tailored towards the applicant to allocate relevant responsibilities between the other board members currently being recruited (CMO).
