Group Leader - NK & T Cell Therapy - Oncology & Haematology

I am currently collaborating with an exciting Biotech company who focus on developing novel first-in-class cellular therapies for the treatment of multiple indications within oncology and Haematology.

We are seeking a scientific expert to lead a team of passionate scientists. As the research and development leader, not only do you have expertise within the Natural Killer cell (NK cell) or T cell field, but also you have the ability to guide, mentor and develop a world leading team of research associates and senior scientists.

Requirements:

• PhD Degree – NK or T Cell focus
• Post-doctoral research experience within Cellular therapies
• >5 years of pharmaceutical or biotech experience related to NK cell or T Cell therapy
• A strong understanding of immunology and ideally experience in NK cell biology
• Expertise in T and NK cell-based assays (e.g. ELISA/ELISpot, FACS, cancer cell killing, multiplex cytokine assays)
• Expertise in molecular biology; viral (including AAV) and non-viral transduction experience, cellular transfection, gene editing with CRISPR/Cas9, cell culture (primary, cell lines, spheroids)
• in vitro/ In vivo experience
• Proficient knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook.
