Job Description

  • Serve as the single point of contact for account-level technology and data integration solutions covering CRS, PI, IT, and technology third party vendors;
  • Support NBA through identifying technology driven differentiators to get customer attention
  • Take on some challenging and complex global accounts requiring advanced knowledge, experience, consulting and program management to solve, with limited supervision by more senior CTPs;
  • Train and mentor more junior CTPs
  • Have accountability for a strategic partnership account, and possibly several key accounts
  • Coordinate & lead the team responsible for delivery of the technology solution for a PI or CRS project, including design of the platform based on customer requirements (understanding wants versus needs), planning and coordination of delivery of the platform and input to the overall Data Operations planning;
  • Be accountable for the quality, timeline and budget related to the solution (process & technology);
  • Provide consulting services around process optimization and technology to increase project team efficiency and ensure easier system integration;
  • Have overall accountability for the client satisfaction of the process & technology solution provided;
  • Have responsibility to identify innovation opportunities and represent these opportunities through the governance, implementation and support processes;
  • Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong customer focus (internal and external).
  • Coordinating global virtual teams around technology integration and data standards
  • Proven ability to manage independently competing priorities with attention to detail.
  • Experience in (technical) project management, planning, budget
  • Ability to motivate and work effectively with virtual teams within different cultural environments.
  • Ability to negotiate and influence in order to achieve results.
  • Technical and data standard experience.
  • Experience in clinical trial systems (CTMS, EDMS, EDC, IVRS, reporting tools, ..) and in system integration approach (enterprise bus, meta-model)
  • Develop detailed awareness of CRS, PI, external vendor software and tools with practical knowledge of how these applications could fit together through a data flow and the inputs and output that are requirement to feed each application.
  • Demonstrated adeptness in learning new systems and function in an evolving technical environment.
  • Awareness/experience in the needs and use of data standards in clinical trial environment; if possible knowledge/experience of data standards such as CDISC and HL7
  • In depth understanding and experience of clinical trial processes
  • Experience in business process redesign and process improvement
  • Knowledge of SOPs/Guidelines/System Life Cycle methodologies, ICH-GCP and any other applicable local and international regulations such as 21 CFR Part 11 and proven practical application.
  • Financial awareness - business case definition
  • Experienced in budgets and cost evaluation of technology solution
  • Ability to transform benefits and costs into a business case with quantified ROI
