QMS Specialist

Hobson Prior are looking for a QMS Specialist to join a leading pharmaceutical organisation who are committed to providing life-changing therapies that can be developed for use in health services throughout the world. This is a permanent position based in Braintree, Essex.

Job Responsibilities:

• You will directly report to the Senior Quality Assurance Specialist - QMS/Q-Pulse.
• To work within a multi-disciplinary team working towards the implementation and establishment of suitable governance processes to assure the manufacture of product which conforms with GMP standards and expectations.
• Act as the initial point of contact for users experiencing system issues.
• Maintenance of QA aspects of the site QMS - including relevant SOPs.
• Deputise for the Senior Quality Assurance Specialist in matters relating to the Q-Pulse system.
• Ensure procedures are implemented site wide to confirm compliance with the QMS.
• Statistical Collation and Presentation of Quality metrics for analysis.
• Oversee site procedures for control of all forms of documentation.
• To assist the Batch Review / QMS Team in conducting audits to ensure compliance with regulatory and Company requirements.

Requirements:

• You are educated to Degree level in a life sciences discipline.
• Previous experience working with GMP quality systems in a Phase III / commercial pharmaceutical manufacturing of biologicals, vaccines, cell or gene therapies manufacturing facility.
• Previous experience working as a quality professional in biologics and preferably cellular and/or gene therapies.
• Member of the Chartered Quality Institute - Chartered quality professional is admirable.
