Job Details

Account Manager required for this exciting new product launch within the medical devices industry in the Benelux region.

Our client has created a brand new team for the delivery of this product to market. You will be reporting into the Sales lead and working alongside a therapy specialist for the product launch, tender process and completion of sales cycles.

Role Responsibilities

  • Build new product launch momentum and lead projects thereafter
  • Presenting together with the Therapy Specialist the clinical, financial and value-based solutions to key decision makers within the Healthcare sector
  • Educate Healthcare professionals to ensure take up of products to optimize patient outcomes
  • Drive the tender management process, including pre-tender focused activity and tender submission
  • Ability to manage complex long sales cycles across the breadth of the decision-making unit
  • Navigate the Capital Sales Process with all stakeholders
  • Develop, with the Therapy Specialist, implement and review territory business plans that are aligned to a National strategy plus the ability to identify and act upon local opportunities
  • Grow existing business base by differentiating solutions clinically and financially versus the competition
  • Ability to negotiate consistent and transparent pricing to secure long term profitable and sustainable sales/market presence
  • Sales data and market analyses to inform activity and ensure a focused and results driven return on time
  • Forecasting - identifying opportunities and pipeline into the forecast in order to inform manufacturing and supply forecast.
  • Regular interaction with local and National team/peer group to continually drive a culture of collaboration, support and sharing best practice
  • Creative mindset to thrive in a constantly changing external environment, as well as adapting to evolving internal business priorities
  • The use of CRM system to support planning, sequential selling and territory analyses
  • Able to work effectively with wider team (sales, clinical, IT) to ensure delivery of implementation (project management).
  • Must have Experience

  • Successful experience in Medical Devices, both in Sales, National Accounts and Bids procedures and requirements
  • Knowledge of tenders/deal structuring
  • Fluency in French with good knowledge of Flemish and English
  • Desirable Experience

    • Masters degree preferred
    • Strong customer and solution focused with excellent communication skills.
    • Knowledge of hospital dynamics and decision path, capital funding mechanisms
