Job Details

Epidemiologist 

I am currently partnered with a unique healthcare consultancy who have specialist functions across Market Access and HEOR. After successfully completing projects in the US and across the EU they are continuing the expansion of their team and are looking for a Systematic Review Analyst to work in close collaboration with the senior managers delivering projects from an EU perspective in SLR. 

This is a great opportunity for a scientifically-focused analyst to broaden their skills in value communication for market access and health economics by working on systematic and targeted literature reviews, feasibility assessments and meta-analyses, reports, slide decks, abstracts and posters for presentation, and peer-reviewed publications.

Key Requirements :

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject, such as life sciences, health economics or public health
  • A postgraduate qualification in a relevant subject
  • Experience in Epidemiology
  • Excellent data analysis skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated interest and experience in healthcare value demonstration
  • Experience in relevant research techniques, including literature reviews
  • Understanding of health economics and healthcare policy
     

Main Responsibilities

  • Undertaking literature reviews to gain insight to the clinical, patient-reported and economic burden of disease, plus the HTA and competitor
  • Prepare research protocols, define and refine research questions as they pertain to literature review objectives
  • Proven experience in systematic literature review (SLR) methods in outcomes research, health economics and/or health services research; experience in supporting SLR for network meta-analysis would be an advantage, but is not essential.
  • Experience with biomedical databases
  • Understanding of research principles and demonstrated practical research implementation
  • Provide expertise in the design, execution and project management of Literature Review Services
