Job Details

Hobson Prior are looking for a Medical Affairs Assistant to join a top Pharmaceutical organisation who aim to make a positive difference to the lives of patients all over the world. This position will be on a contract basis in High Wycombe.

Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Accountable to support and drive the proactive communication platforms of the organisation in the UK.
  • Assisting with executive leaders' management communications, including building media programmes for priority platforms and programmes.
  • Support the establishment of an external communications group to ensure strategic alignment with business external communications.
  • Proactively address issues and crisis management with outstanding processes and proactive planning and responses working collaboratively with the entire Media team help mitigate issues and to manage company news on a global scale.
  • Work with business, policy partners and industry associations to support communications in the development of public health, policy and regulatory frameworks.
  • Develop a digital strategy and content plan to communicate to key external partners, including employee engagement in digital communications and an executive social outreach program.
  • Successfully work with multiple teams to present the interests of the entire Company with one voice.
  • Ensures consistency and continuity in the practice communications.
  • You will act as the trusted source of holistic information and effective strategy and SOP adherence for regional business and country communications by bringing an enterprise perspective to their partners.
  • Integrate data to craft appropriate strategy - demonstrating an innate sense of f multichannel approaches to driving messaging.

Key Skills:

  • Robust enterprise mind-set and a proven track record to lead through influence as inspiring leader in the field of media relations.
  • Robust command of the English and French language required.
  • Deep organisational capability.

Requirements:

  • Education and/or additional training: BA required; Advanced degree preferred.
  • At least 8 years senior-level experience in communication with a focus on reputation-building work.
  • Integrating and aligning people and processes to build efficiencies and standards in a sophisticated, decentralised and complex environment.
