Group Lead - Early Discovery

I am partnered with a global drug discovery and development organisation who are looking to expand in a number of areas. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced scientist to lead within early discovery.

Responsibilities:

• Leadership of scientists across target identification and validation as well as functional genomics
• Matrix management of project teams across different therapeutic areas
• Liaise both internally with different functional teams as well as external partners and clients
• Ensure effective, efficient and timely progression of projects
• Lead in preparation and review of proposals
• Lead in developing and implementing new or expanded technologies to influence future projects

Your Background:

• PhD in a relevant subject
• Experience working in pharma/biotech/CRO environment
• Track record in delivering or validating targets for preclinical development
• Experience leading/managing team
• Experience with CRISPR and/or RNAi
• Fluent English
• German language beneficial
