Senior Director - Gene Therapy

We are working on an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing biotech who are looking to grow their pre-clinical team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced gene therapy scientist to work within a leading and innovative corporation during an exciting period of growth.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee nonclinical programs supporting the company's pipelines of gene therapy products
• Coordinate and manage research, proof-of-concept and other pre-clinical studies
• Support program nomination through to regulatory filing
• Oversee the growth of the pre-clinical team

Requirements

• PhD in a relevant science
• Strong experience within drug development, gene therapy (viral or non-viral)
• Practical experience within AAV gene therapy is beneficial
• Strong experience in designing and executing pre-clinical studies
• Leadership/management experience is essential
