Albion Rye Associates have been exclusively assigned to support the hire of a Modeller -Research Associate within the HEOR and RWE industry, if you are an ambitious, professional this is the opportunity for you!

This is an excellent opportunity to join an innovative, growing RWE consultancy based in Greater London, UK, with remote working flexibility considered across the UK.

You will join a team build modelling and simulation team as a Research Associate/Modeller supporting the team. Our client offers all employees personal growth and career progression, supported by a dedicated training program.

This is a key role within the delivery team working under the Head of Modelling. Working with healthcare data you will be responsible for the provision of data and process modelling based on the agreed pathway, methodology and design.

Responsibilities:

  • Reviewing and interpreting client briefs, as well as various other supporting materials from simple brand guidelines to complex randomized clinical trial studies.
  • Conduct Literature Reviews with emphasis on extracting data pertinent to Health Economic evaluations and Cost-effectiveness analyses.
  • Map out and agree on pathways with clients based on the research of NICE guidance, publications by medical societies and KOLS in the field.
  • Assist with implementing simulation models (e.g., discrete event simulation) and potentially other decision-analytic models (e.g., Markov, individual state-transition, survival partition).
  • Analysing and interpreting simulation results including appropriate statistical analyses and creation of business cases.
  • Assist with drafting sections of project deliverables (e.g., user guides, model specifications and technical reports).

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Health Economics, Mathematics, Epidemiology; or Life Sciences.
  • Bachelor’s degrees in other fields will be considered.
  • Excellent knowledge of mathematical modelling.
  • Coding experience.
  • Experience with the entire design process, from persona creation to polishing the final UI.
  • Basic understanding of research methods.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to clearly articulate design rationale to stakeholders.
  • A good blend of creative and analytical skills.
