THE ROLE:

This position has the responsibility to process all medical information enquiries and adverse event cases in the respective timeframes. The role will include, but not limited to, the following:

Medical Information & Pharmacovigilance:

  • Address medical information enquiries (e.g. telephone, email) from external (e.g. healthcare professionals, wholesalers, patients) and internal stakeholders by handling cases in a timely, accurate and objective manner, with factually robust information in appropriate manner and format
  • Generate, update and manage local standard medical documents (e.g. scientific letters) for use to respond to enquiries relating to the company’s products/activities
  • Production, collation, on-going management and storage of medical information enquiries
  • Responsible for updating and maintaining compliance with medical information and pharmacovigilance SOPs and quality
  • Updating, creating and maintaining standard response letters and FAQs for each product as required
  • Ensuring that adverse events are reported within the required timeframes and tracked in accordance with local SOPs
  • Performing follow up activities for adverse event cases as per company policies and local SOPs
  • Raising CAPAs and deviations as necessary and following up until closure

THE CANDIDATE:

  • Life sciences degree (mandatory)
  •  Experience (2 years + desirable) in medical information OR a Med Info / pharmacovigilance mix role (mandatory)
  •  In depth working knowledge and awareness of the ABPI Code (mandatory)
  • Only candidates with existing right to work in the UK/EU will be considered
