JOB SUMMARY

Provides investor relations support and acts as a key liaison for the Investor Relations team in investor and analyst interactions to broaden the Company's investor base, as well as coordinating activities with internal teams. Prepares earnings release and investor meeting presentation materials including detailed support documents and related financial analysis. Analyzes financial and other business information and interprets and investigates accounting and operational data for the Company and its competitors, as well as the CRO industry overall. Key responsibilities also include planning and execution of investor and analyst events including conferences, individual investor meetings, roadshows, and activities.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provides investor relations support and acts as a key liaison for the Investor Relations team. Prepares high quality presentations for earnings releases and investor meetings including detailed supporting documents and related financial analysis. Assists in drafting scripts for earnings calls as well as other investor communications and market analysis.
  • Prepares, interprets, and analyzes industry/competitor financial data and business metrics, delivering both recurring and ah-hoc reporting, and complex analysis for IR, Finance, global management, Board of Directors, and investors/analysts as required. Monitors industry and competitor data to provide reporting of key developments and to aid in framing investor communications.
  • Supports the Investor Relations team in communications with investors and analysts including communication of company strategy and financial results and addressing inquiries. Works with other third parties such as the Company's listing exchange, financial publications and websites, and other public information sources to insure Company financial and operating information is updated timely and presented accurately.
  • Manages planning and logistics for all Investor Relations activities including earnings releases, investor conferences, roadshow activities, analyst meetings, etc. Works with internal departments to plan and communicate activities and works with third party vendors to ensure necessary contracts and services are in place.
  • Tracks and manages updates to investment bank analyst models and associated ratings. Works with analysts and staff to review financial models and ensure accuracy and completeness of data, address inquiries, and ensure consistency with Company strategy and financial guidance. Monitors consensus views and provides reporting and analysis against Company forecasts and guidance as well as competitor data.
  • Works with the Company's listing exchange and internal marketing and technology staff to ensure Investor Relations website is properly maintained and updated. Monitors website activity and industry best practices to develop recommendations to ensure website is optimized both in functionality and content while striving for world class investor support.
  • Tracks all investor relations activities, including investor communications, and develops metrics to drive consistent improvement. Supports the preparation and review of periodic SEC filings, annual reports, and proxy materials.
  • Represents the Investor Relations team in reviewing materials for other departments (including Materials Review Board) to insure consistency with investor communications and other publicly available Company information.
  • Assists management and others within the Finance department with miscellaneous projects and financial support and analysis as directed.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
  • MBA and/or Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or equivalent education and experience, with strong experience in accounting/finance. Public/investor reporting and communications experience preferred, and/or Investment banking, CRO industry or specific Investor Relations experience.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is essential.
  • Proficiency with accounting software packages, specifically Oracle Finance and Hyperion Essbase is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with confidential and sensitive data is critical.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, organizational, interpersonal, and teamwork skills required, along with a high level of personal motivation to achieve.
  • Ability to perform several tasks simultaneously to meet deadlines is necessary.
