Job Details

Jonathan Cunliffe is supporting a leading Pharmaceutical to source an expert Statistician with a strong record of scientific publications. This candidate should be experienced with various statistical methods, ideally including Bayesian and Adaptive Design methods as they will be responsible for complex projects.

Responsibilities:-

  • Input into the departments statistical direction based on it's technical needs.
  • Promote the use of innovative and advance designs and methods across studies by providing statistical support on complex problems.
  • Acting as an internal consultant and statistical expert.
  • Direct statistical technical support and leadership to major studies that require novel designs/methodologies to gain further clinical trial experience. 

Requirements:- 

  • Degree (ideally MSc or PhD) in Bio/Statistics, mathematics or related field.
  • 5 years Statistician experience in Industry or Academic background.
  • Understanding of advanced statistical concepts and techniques in certain areas and the capability to develop knowledge in new statistical frontiers.  
  • Proficient with SAS/R.
  • Experience working on clinical trials.
