Jonathan Cunliffe at Umbilical Life is sourcing for an experienced Statistician or Statistical Programmer with a statistical background to provide leadership within the Biometrics department of  an International Pharmaceutical.

Accountable for:

• Leading the Statistics & Programming teams - including roughly 10 direct reports.
• Interaction with relevant regulatory authorities - EMA, FDA, PMDA. 
• Contributions as technical expert as part of cross-functional project teams.
• Development of internal standards, processes and training.

Qualifications/ Requirements:

• University degree in statistics, mathematics or other scientific discipline with high statistical-methodological share. 
• 6+ years professional experience as Biostatistician/Programming in clinical research.
• Good knowledge of biostatistical methods in clinical research across all phases of studies, early phase would be beneficial.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements for statistical and programming aspects.
• Profound knowledge of SAS and R.
• Excellent spoken and written English language skills. German speaking is a plus.
• Goal-oriented, quality-conscious work on changing projects, even under time pressure.
• Candidates on EU Bluecard and Jobseeker Visa considered.
