Overview

Territory: North West of England.
Region Covered: Salford or surrounding areas.

The role of the Hybrid Sales Representative on the UK field team will be to support the uptake of our client's product, for PDN (painful diabetic neuropathy), through product education and referrals within the assigned geographic region. The sales representative will be reporting directly to the Regional Sales Manager, and will have the opportunity to meet with primary care GP's, GPWSI in Diabetes, Diabetic Nurse Specialists, Consultant Diabetologists and HCP's responsible for Pain Clinics.
Responsibilities

• Within the agreed territory; identify and develop HCP value-based interactions using insights through collaboration with the internal team, whilst ensuring alignment to national and regional launch strategy.
• Deliver on a well-defined business plan within budget and agreed timelines in addition to other key performance indicators.
• Present clinical, scientific, financial and value-based solutions to key decision-makers within the therapeutic area.
• Identify those HCPs who will make patient referrals and those with a special interest to advocate the product. Develop long-term business relationships with these HCPs enabling protection of the progressive business from the threat of future competition.
• Identify and assess local opportunities where value can be added, presenting prudent business cases to line manager for additional investment consideration.
• Engage in regular interaction at regional and national meetings to drive a culture of collaboration, support and sharing best practices. In addition to sharing critical insights with marketing and other stakeholders.

Job Requirements

• Experience in a Primary Care or Device Representative position (Launch experience and secondary care experience would be desirable).
• Existing relationships with Primary care GPs, GPs with special interest, Nurses and Nurse practitioners throughout the region.
• Experience selling in the Diabetes or Pain market.
• Current experience applying a multi-channel approach within a primary care setting, including the use of e-detailing, remote call applications and other digital approaches.
• Outstanding communication with exceptional selling and persuading skills along with enthusiasm, high-energy and a team oriented can-do attitude.
• Exceptional territory business planning, management and organisational skills, as well as a drive for achievement and willingness to challenge the status quo in order to deliver.
