Ensure process consistency and develop insight to drive portfolio governance and success

This is what our Process Managers live for: by interpreting the Alliance Performance Indicators, they provide an accurate picture on how a portfolio of projects is progressing, support strategic decision making and orchestrate the conversations (internal and external) that will ensure operational efficiency.

And here is where you come in: we have opened a Portfolio Process Manager job to support the growth of our Drug Development Partnership Team.

This is a Europe based job: you could work from any of our main offices or home based.

THE JOB

Our Portfolio Process Managers tell a story through tracking & monitoring the performance of Covance´s Strategic Alliance Accounts.

What story? We don't just want you to compile a set of KPIs and metrics on a monthly basis. We will trust you to interpret and consolidate them in the narrative that will show the Covance´s Executive Team and our Global Pharmaceutical partners if the Alliance is working consistently and effectively across the portfolio (these are multi-national, complex clinical trials: are costs kept under control? Timeliness met? Client and CRO processes aligned?, etc.)

This is a high visibility job:

  • Upon the insights you develop, action plans will be designed.
  • Your robust analysis of metrics, KPIs and objectives will provide the ground to have transparent conversations with our partners.


WHAT MAKES THIS JOB SPECIAL

  • Drug Development Partnership Solutions, and
  • Covance´s Central Labs.


One of your main goals is to ensure processes continuity, so that Covance´s and our Sponsor´s processes are aligned and run smoothly. This is why this position:

  • Will have you working cross-functionally, exposed to multiple teams (Clinical Operations, Sales, Finance, Legal...), and you will orchestrate the conversation between them to provide solutions to the portfolio needs
  • You will have the unique opportunity to drive synergies between Clinical Operations and Central Labs


Few other CROs can offer you this broad and strategic perspective of managing the Drug Development Process with Global Pharma clients

Remote- EMEA
Education/Qualifications:
  • University/college degree (life science preferred)
  • Thorough knowledge of ICH Guidelines and GCP including international regulatory requirements for the conduct of clinical development programs.
  • Fluent in local office language and in English, both written and verbal.
  • Proven ability to understand and communicate corporate policies
Experience:
