My client, a global pharmaceutical company have a fantastic opportunity for a Head of Medical Governance & Pharmacovigilance Liaison. This is a full-time permanent opportunity.
To be considered you will need:
Education & Experience:
Bachelors or Post Graduate degree in science, pharmacy, or medicine.
Line management experience.
Knowledge of relevant information sources including printed publications, unpublished sources, databases, websites, social media sites and external bodies.
Effective understanding and use of the principles of information capture, storage, searching and retrieval.
Team management and leadership skills
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for overseeing Group Medical Governance function and Pharmacovigilance outsourced activities for Group products.
Preparation of the annual budget for the PV and Medical Governance Departments and providing the budget assumptions to Head of Pharmaceutical Affairs, EUQPPV
Oversee performance and compliance of all MG and PV activities delegated to India in cooperation with Head of Pharmacovigilance and Medical Governance
Cooperates with PV Manager, Deputy EU QPPV to ensure that non-compliance with EU PV legislation is flagged to EU QPPV office and deviations/CAPAs are resolved in a timely manner
Work with Deputy Head of Medical Information and Deputy Head of Medical and promotional compliance to ensure that any non-compliance in medical information and medical and promotional compliance activities are flagged to EU QPPV office and deviations/CAPAs are resolved in a timely manner
