Compass Life Sciences are working with a global pharmaceutical company supporting the search for a contract Brand Manager to support their Diabetes portfolio.  Reporting to the Brand Leader, within this key strategic market, this is a fantastic opportunity to work on the next generation of both treatments, and access to treatment in what will be an exciting launch year for some innovative new treatments and technologies.  
The Role  
Working as part of a Business Unit aligned marketing team, you will support the development of promotional offerings and support great customer experiences.  There will be opportunities to work on both established and new launch products.  
This role will focus on supporting a recently launched insulin product and the launch plans of new connected care solutions and their integration of these into the NHS healthcare economy.  You will be involved in shaping the direction of the future of the diabetes portfolio and supporting a range of projects, products, and technologies.  
Key elements of the role include;  
Focus on the development of connected care solutions and integration of these into the NHS healthcare economy, localising global materials during a critical launch year
Identification of barriers in pursuit of delivering an exceptional customer experience and to ensure execution excellence of the Customer Plan/ Operational Plan 2021
Partner cross functional teams to ensure Brand- and project success (Sales, PRA, Medical, MCE etc.)
Seek commonalities and opportunities for synergies, to help reduce volume of work and maximise efficiencies
Understand, anticipate, and adapt to changing market dynamics and their impact on brand during launch preparation
Support Customer Plan Development, in line with Global Brand Strategy and as part of the annual Integrated Planning Approach Framework
Understand and lead appropriate Marketing and Medical interactions
Understand and drive the clinical development strategy for the brand
Responsible for tracking/management of individual project budgets and associated operating expenses
Responsible for understanding, implementation, and adherence to company policies, processes, and external obligations, as applicable
To be considered for this contract position, our client is looking for candidates that can demonstrate passion, adaptability, and a positive attitude that are looking to make an impact in a world class team.  You should be able to demonstrate the following experiences;  
Experience within a Brand management role within a healthcare or pharmaceutical environment
Experience using technologies integrations to support the advancement of a brand or portfolio
Strong technical marketing knowledge, with an understanding of NHS health policy and commissioning
Experience working in the diabetes therapeutic area is desired but not essential.
Experience using Zinc and Veeva platforms desired but not essential
Strong analytical skills with experience analysing sales figures, market intelligence, and competitor performance.
Launch experience is preferred, but not essential
This role will be based in our client's Hampshire offices in the future once COVID restrictions are lifted.  It is offered as a PAYE contract only.
