Our client is a privately-owned company which allows them the freedom to decide which research they invest in. They have a strong code of ethics and conduct and have a commitment to ethical and social responsibility. They have medicines within Cardiovascular, Neonatal, Transplantation, Respiratory, and have an exciting speciality pipeline.

We have a new exciting opportunity as a Senior Compliance Manager to join a highly experienced team, where you will play a strategic role in supporting the Legal and Compliance Director in implementing the UK Compliance agenda in line with the ABPI Code of Practice for the Pharmaceutical Industry, UK laws and regulations, the Corporate Code of Ethics and all other applicable internal policies and procedures.

The job holder must have significant experience of compliance within the Pharmaceutical industry, enabling them to demonstrate a strong working knowledge of the ABPI Code. They must also have demonstrable experience in managing direct reports and playing a key role in defining and implementing strategy. They must be able to develop and deliver training within their own field of expert knowledge, whilst being able to develop and maintain good working relationships with key internal stakeholders/departments is essential.

Additionally, the job holder must have good communication skills both written and oral, be able to influence both internally and externally and have experience of carrying out internal and external audits within agreed guidelines. Whilst not essential, it would be desirable if the job holder had knowledge of different software systems (e.g. Veeva, SAP).
