We are looking for a Business Optimization Manager to be homebased in Lithuania. This is a brand new position where you will provide quantitative and qualitative data analysis and reporting of patterns, insights, and trends to decision-makers.

The role is a key for Global Project Leadership and will drive consolidation, standardization and consistency of reporting and analytics for GPL. Provide business intelligence and analytics support to Senior Management team. To apply advanced knowledge of business intelligence practices to lead complex projects requiring advanced analytics to support operational efficiencies and resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways.

Key Accountabilities:

• Work in conjunction with functional leadership and other business users, acting as a liaison between technical and business teams in identifying and developing systems, dashboards, data visualizations, analytics and other tactical optimization solutions

• To gather requirements, research alternatives and analyze data to develop insightful conclusions and generate solutions to address business problems

• Develops relationships across GPL and through the organization to understand and anticipate information and reporting needs

• Act as an internal consultant, point of contact, and trusted advisor for stakeholders

• Facilitate the prioritization of projects, requirements, and support issues among competing business interests

• Responsible for the high quality and timely preparation of agreed deliverables with no supervisory oversight

• Standardize data collection by developing methods for database design and validation

• Understand and monitor organizational structures and adjust data sets, reports and dashboards as appropriate

• Develop statistical models for advanced and predictive analytics

• Drive process and technology improvements

• Train and mentor junior staff on reporting and analytics process and toolsQualifications

Knowledge and Experience:

• 7+ years in reporting and analytics

• Expert in Excel / SQL / VBA / Data Visualization Tools like Spotfire, PowerBI, etc.

• Expert in the use of query and reporting analysis tools

• Knowledge of statistics at an intermediate level and prior experience conducting statistical analysis

• Previous experience in Financial reporting and analytics preferred

• Analytics & Problem Solving - Ensures data accuracy and integrity of team deliveries. Guides detailed analysis to anticipate and solve problems, including involvement of cross-functional resources, as required

Education:

• Educated to degree level (technology, business administration & economics, biological science, pharmacy or other health related discipline preferred) or equivalent qualificationWhy Work at Parexel
