Sourcing & Supply within UK Operations manages the material flow through the factory, enabling our packaging and processing areas to produce stock for customer orders to over 100 countries globally. We have a fantastic opportunity for a Master Data Associate to join our team.


As a Master Data Associate you will work in a rapidly changing business environment and will act as part of a flexible team executing master data change across a range of IT Systems used within UK Operations (eg. ICON, Gazelle). You will be responsible for creating and maintaining master data in IT systems to ensure compliant flow of material through the supply chain.

The primary focus of this role will be supporting the Pack Change process through review and technical approval of artwork, creation and maintenance of Material Masters and Bills of Materials across a portfolio of products in support of New Product Introductions and technical/regulatory change for established products.

You will have knowledge of IT processes and system functionality together with an understanding of related business processes (e.g. Packaging Technology and production) to ensure that master data is complete, accurate and maintained to ensure there are no interruptions to product manufacture and supply. In addition, you will process data efficiently and will create and follow predefined processes to ensure consistency and compliance.

You will be required to work closely and develop strong relationships with other business functions such as Production, Planning, Pack Change, Inbound/Outbound and Quality Assurance.

Essential Skills

· Experience and knowledge of SAP ECC and other IT systems

· Demonstrated attention to detail

· Pharmaceutical industry experience. Experience of artwork processes and packaging technology would be advantageous.

· Experience within manufacturing/packaging and or working within a GMP controlled environment would be advantageous

· Exposure to Lean ways of working and methodologies would be beneficial.
