Biology - Director

I am partnered with a global research and development organisation looking to grow their discovery and early development function. This will be a leading role focusing on a newly created platform.

Responsibilities:

• Support discovery and development programs for small and large molecules
• Provide guidance and oversight to design, development and implementation of studies
• Provide strategics and tactical insights and guidance
• Ensure efficient executions of biology strategies, leading and mentoring a team of scientists
• Works closely and effectively with global partners and clients, ensuring portfolio alignment, effective prioritisation, comprehensive drafting, review and  completion of proposals and research plans
• Work closely with different internal teams from safety, DMPK, translational, chemistry, informatics and biology 

Your Background:

• PhD in a biological science
• Comprehensive experience in pharma / biotech environment
• Experience in a leading role - senior or management level
• Experience in the design, validation and implementation of in vitro assays
• Experience with IND submissions
